Work

Building real-time multiplayer infrastructure for a global mobile game.

DadosBall — concurrent play across regions.

Problem

A games startup needed realtime multiplayer that worked on Android and iOS, with players in different regions competing at once.

Constraints

Two mobile platforms, concurrent matches, authentication, player profiles, payments.

System

A cross-platform React Native game with WebSocket-powered matches.

Architecture

Realtime session layer, auth, profiles, and payments sitting on one multiplayer backend rather than per-store logic.

Product

Players join matches from multiple regions on Android and iOS.

Engineering

WebSocket match pipeline, shared auth, integrated payments.

Outcome

A realtime multiplayer game shipping on Android and iOS with cross-region play. Concurrent-user marketing figures are not used as proof.

What comes next

The match infrastructure is the part that can evolve independently of client skins.
